This is the second in a series of 'God's Own County Yorkshire' illustrations.

Representing Harrogate is the entrance to Valley Gardens, the Sun Pavillion and Betty's on Parliament Street/Montpellier Hill. The areas of Knaresborough represented are the Viaduct, the Nidd, the Manor House with chequered paintwork, the Memorial Cross and Knaresborough Castle. Harlow Carr gardens are featured too, the pillars from the Harrogate Royal Spa Concert Rooms, the stone lions and Betty's. A section from Fountains Abbey is also included and above that is a typical Yorkshire pub (The Queen's Head at Kettlesing), surrounded by dry stone walling and Swaledale sheep. The 320 million year-old Brimham Rocks are nestled on the hill surrounded by heather and in front of the 'Golf Balls' (visible from any higher ground around the Harrogate area!). Simon's Seat and the White Horse of Kilburn are positioned on the hills in the background.

I have hand-drawn the illustration using pen and ink before being digitally enhanced with my chosen colour scheme and added patterns inspired by the local areas of Harrogate. The prints are limited edition and signed.
