I love Knaresborough. There's always a holiday feeling when I visit and I almost feel I could be abroad when the sun is shining and I'm walking down from the castle to the beautiful riverside. The buildings are so distinctive and it has been a pleasure to illustrate, I have hopefully managed to get most of the key buildings in, whilst adding a variety of architecture.

Buildings included are:

The Viaduct, Nidd Gorge, Marigold Cafe on the riverside, The Manor House, Mother Shipton's Cave, Manor Cottage, Chapel of Our Lady of the Crag, House in the Rock, Knaresborough train station, Gallon House and steps, St. John the Baptist Church, Blind Jack's pub, the market square with Cross, The Old Chemist shop, shops depicting the black and white chequered patterns, The Castle pub and the unusual building which is the Six Poor Folk pub. The silhouette buildings in the background include Holy Trinity Church. Can you spot the bed on wheels and the rubber ducks? These are representing two annual events popular with Knaresborough residents, The Duck Race and the Knaresborough Bed Race.
